Who am I?

Well I am an average guy who wanted to expand my capabilities and learn more about myself so I have started this blog just for that reason.  I enjoy so many aspects of being creative from writing songs and poems to photography and even a little painting.  (the later part doesn’t happen much since I need to get some good art supplies)  I also enjoy encouraging others to step out and create as well.  I believe that we all have creativity in us and that it can come out in so many different ways if we are willing to give it a shot.  Have you tried to create in one form or another and it just didn’t work out?  Well my advice is don’t give up.  Creativity can take on many forms so if one thing doesn’t work then try something else.  But you may also find that a simple change in perspective can help as well.  Often we approach a creative project with certain expectations and ideas in our head.  But creativity does not always work that way especially when you are getting started.  So whatever you do don’t give up.  Keep trying and keep your mind open to ways you can be creative.  You just might be surprised.

After reading that I was about to delete it and start all over again since it didn’t seem to fit the mold of an “about page”.  But that’s me though.  I love to encourage people to step out and do more with gifts they have been given.  So I’m going to leave it there since it does describe who I am after all.   =)
